During your holiday with us  in The New Forest we hope you enjoy all The New Forest has to offer. The location of our B & B is perfect if you want to leave the car and explore on foot or by bike, there are cycle trails and walks from our doorstep. Alternativelyy a short drive are a host of wonderful New Forest villages to explore and activites to enjoy.

Hurst Castle

Situated one.5 miles from Milford on Sea just a 15 minute drive from The B & B, spectacular views and walks take binoculars.

The New Forest Centre
An essential part of your visit to the Forest. Set in the heart of the National Park in Lyndhurst, you'll find a fascinating Museum, Visitor Information Centre, Gift Shop, Library, Exhibition Gallery and friendly staff to answer all your questions about the New Forest and how to best enjoy it.

Palace House, Beaulieu
Once the Great Gatehouse of Beaulieu Abbey, contains the resident Montagu family treasures, portraits, photographs and memorabilia. It is set in beautiful gardens overlooking the Monks Mill Pond and walks by the Beaulieu River can also be enjoyed. A 15 minute drive from The Forest Tea House Bed & Breakfast.

While many of the original buildings have been destroyed, much of the original beauty and interest remains. The former Monk's Refectory is now the local Parish Church whilst The Domus, which houses the exhibition, is home to beautiful wall hangings created by Belinda, Lady Montagu.

Cycling in The New The New Forest
In addition to the miles of sheltered country roads, there is over 100 miles of approved cycle routes throughout the forest, providing you with plenty of places to explore on your bike. A superb cycle route goes from The Forest Tea House Bed and Breakfast and a cycle hire shop is a short stroll away in Burley Village.
